Our Origins
Valjean Labs® was founded in 2022 by a team of skincare enthusiasts who were frustrated with the complexity and cost of high-end skincare. We set out to create our own line of products using proven ingredients at accessible price points.
Our name pays homage to one of literature’s most iconic characters – Jean Valjean from Victor Hugo’s classic Les Misérables. Valjean transforms from prisoner to philanthropist, representing redemption and inner beauty. Like Valjean, we aim to uncover the best version of ourselves through simple self-care.
